I can't find any pictures of China Cargo Airlines 747-400Fs on this site! They have one, I am certain, because I was just down at ORD this weekend and was so close to the wing I could have jumped up and gotten a ride. They always park that superhuge ultrabeautiful airliner in a little corner with the wing hanging out over the road and you can get so close to it! Anyway, does anyone know anything about this jet? Do they have more than one? (Do they plan on having more than one?)

I believe the jet you saw was an Atlas Air craft. They have a leasing agreement with CHI. However, China Air will get the first of 13 -400Fs in July.

Wow! Well, I'll see if I can scan in the pictures I took of it! They're from the roof of my friend's van so they're over the tall fence and are BEAUTIFUL!

Yup they are on a wet lease from Atlas Air.....

I managed to create a small faux pax when I took some shots of one leaving ANC and posted them to this site........

A lot of sharp eyed people pointed out the engines where different then any other China Air type......Finall I ended up making a very large scale scan of the registration and indeed it was an N number...
