Some one posted the question about AB flying to New York from London. I have just got of the phone with a guy who flies 737 for AB and he comformed that AB are looking for a 767 but not just 1 they are looking for 2 or 3 of them. They will be going to New York and also Carribean. They are alos getting quite a few 737-700 and are looking to move to Heathrow. The have really grown and are the best low fare airline in the UK but Easyjet is doing good too.

I think the best low fare airline in the UK is Air 2000 or Monarch. AB or Easyjet are too young to be considered the best ones, they still have many miles to fly.

What does AB stand for? - Sorry to interrupt with this silly question ...

I've flown on 9V-SPK.

How much market share do you think they will be able to get from British Airways and Virgin Atlantic? Their 767s won't be able to match the capacity of BA's and VS's 747s.
