Try Southwest Airlines or Frontier. If you can't get a good fare into PHX try Tuscon or even SAN. Then they can rent a car and drive. If you need more help let me know.

When do they need to fly? Check out ATA (www.ata.com). Our fares are usually pretty close to being the lowest in the markets we serve (FLL and MIA - PHX) -- especially when you need a last minute ticket.

Really cheap at this point (less than three weeks in advance on one of the busy travel weekends) isn't going to happen.

Finding $800 or so out of MIA/FLL/PBI to Phoenix. Tampa and Orlando are worse.
Why don't they rent a car on the other end and fly into another airport within driving distance like Tucson or perhaps even Albuquerque (even Los Angeles is only about six hours drive at most)?

Please go to use with www.delta.com for the good cheaper price with the choose of your own seat. This is very best #1 for Delta is lower price with class S, T, U. If you do get K class will able get upgrade of the first class standby list. OK? Well, talk ya later!!

Southwest is your best bet. Probably around $600 for both R/T.

ScottysAir,

Doesn't help at all... For several days leading up to the game, Delta is zeroed out on inventory for anything less than a M class fare.

Looking at Southwest... they are sold out to Phoenix out of FLL for a few days before and after apparently. Availability is to be had out of PBI if they want to stay in PHX for about three days after the game.... then it's $600 per person . It's $540 per person if they fly out of Orlando on Southwest and spend a total of six days in Phoenix. Tampa and Jacksonville... same story or sold out. It's Phoenix flights that are the problem, not those out of Florida.

I checked ATA.... they are sold out departing Phoenix before January 6th. Their lowest fare showing is $883 round trip per person.

Southwest is probably the best bet, with $299 each way, each person fares.

If price is a consideration and the deciding factor as it is in this case, an M fare is not what they are looking for. I don't think they care about upgrading to First... they just want to get to Phoenix cheaply and a Delta M fare isn't going to do it for them.

thank you for your help guys...it was definitely a mistake not buying tickets ahead of time and the fares are still pretty expensive...but its inderstandable. I have heard that 25,000 fans are heading over to Tempe. I think there are even some charters "bussing" fans over there....again thanks...

well I havea feeling the HP is way overbooked...it is one time daily right? I found a fare from PBI-DFW-PHX on Delta -- $518.00...not bad...also WN has some flights from FLL to PHX for around 250 on the 29th....oh well I'll talk to him and figure things out...

Prinair,

Yeah, this is nonstop from FLL/MIA to PHX flight there, too. I do knew that one for only 1 daily roundtrip nonstop flight. Can you do try get fly HP and this is too expensives price more than of $400 roundtrip. It's is a loser for AWA was got a problems with the pilot for this summer of 2002. Well, talk ya later!

Regards,

Scott W.

Why dont you check to LAS or LAX then purchase a one way ticket
on WN to PHX from there, or rental car. Might be a cheaper
alternative.
