I was surprised today when I got my email from Southwest, and in it an annoucement of SJC-BWI nonstop starting 1/12/2003!

It didn't seem like WN was going to add much transcon service; they had done the LAX-BWI route, but then seemed hesitant to add anything else. I'd love to know what other transcon's they are planning. I know my folks would love to see LAX-FLL (and so, I suspect would a lot of other people).

And if somehow, Southwest could find a better closer airport than ISP for the New York area, I think things would get VERY interesting.
