I just wanted to wish all of us who work for an airline, or some other part of moving the travelling public, a Merry Christmas. I want to thank you all for your time and dedication to our profession, and thank you all for the effort you put forth. I know it doesnt always go recognized(believe me i know, i work for the most villified airline in Canada!) but truly i find that most everyone who works in this industry love their jobs and work their butt off to make their own airline as good as it can be. This is a 24/7 industry and not nearly enough recognition is given to those of us who sacrifice alot for the field of work we love and enjoy. I hope you enjoy your Christmas whenever you have it(alas i am working Christmas Day as well!!) and have a great New Year.

I agree that you guys should be more recognized (and compensated). Everytime I fly I see the hardwork that is being put in with my own eyes - just to ensure that I (and my luggage) get to my destination safely.
Winter or summer that's some serious manual labor!
Its better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air than be in the air wishing you were on the ground. Fly safe!
