I flew on this aircraft when Aer lingus flew them and I quite liked them.Have you ever flown the 340 or spotted one and if so did you like it?

Yes, I have flown on the A, B and B+ models. The B+ (final version) was the quietest and most powerful. They are no longer in production as Saab no longer is in the airliner business. The Saab 2000 was/is a great aircraft that came out too late.

The Dash 8 series of aircraft are largely regarded as the best of the turboprop regional airliners.
