There was also a 752 in that livery.
A survey conducted this year of customers, employees and Brits in general showed overwhelming support for the "Union Flag" scheme over the world tails. Seems people want & expect a slice of British culture when they step aboard a BA aircraft. Amen.
Panam, TWA, Ansett, Eastern.......AC next? Might be good for Canada.

BAs fleet will be a rather boring sight very soon.
The "Paithani"-scheme was surely stunning. Sad its history now. G-BDXO is still stored (since a year now, it was retired after 9/11), as one of the last BA 742s.
Most ex-BA 742s have found new owners, I´m not sure but G-BDXO might be one of the three that were aquired by Air Atlanta a few weeks ago.
B757 G-BMRA, the only other BA-aircraft in "Paithani"-colours, was retired a year ago, too.
