After leaving Cleveland Hopkins today, I noticed a DC-9(pretty sure it was a -9) by the Freight docks. It was close to the Chelsea Catering center too. Anyone know who's this is? Also, there was a Convair 580 parked by it too.

Airborne Express sends a DC9-10 here daily. As to where it's from, I suppose it flies here from Airborne Airpark I believe.

Hmmmm...I was thinking it was AbEx, but it didn't really look like it, but could of been. And yes, it would be from Wilmington, Ohio. You don't know who's Convair that is, do you? Also, there was a Delta 757, couldn't find out where he was from.  Confused

I just landed at CLE.... there was indeed an Abex -9 there as well as a DL 757. No idea why the 757 was there.

The DL 757 was there as the Atlanta Falcons charter. It was flight 9810 going back to Atlanta. I saw that one on the way home from work today. Also the Convair belongs to Air Tahoma I believe. This is something I found doing research on it. It is from the Columbus, OH, paper:

"Air Tahoma, a San Diego-based cargo carrier, has agreed to a five-year lease for a 28,860-square-foot building and 87,400 square feet of ramp space. Rickenbacker said the company has used its space at the airport for aircraft maintenance operations on a temporary basis for several years, and it will continue to operate a maintenance facility there."

Hope this helps!

One of their Convairs flew over my house, sounded like a 440 model.
