Copa Airlines, will operate one of its new Boeing 737-700 aircraft on the route. Panama-Los Angeles.
With more than fifty two years of operations in Latin America, Copa Airlines serves 31 destinations in 20 countries in North, Central and South America and the Caribbean. From its "Hub of the Americas" at Tocumen International Airport in Panama City.
This year plans to transport more than 1,000,000 passengers and in June will start operations to Sao Paulo, Brazil.

I wonder if Continental will be handling all ground operations for COPA at LAX. If so, maybe they will be located at Terminal 6 and not the International Terminal.
With COs heavy investment in COPA, I'm sure that we might see an expansion of COPA into other destinations in the USA, including SFO, and possibly EWR.
I see those 737-700s at here at MEX regularly on their non stops to Panama. There very nice and brand new. I'm flying to Bogata 4/1 and flying COPA was an option, and an option I would have prefered. Instead I'm on Avianca 757s.

Yes, Copa Airlines inaugurate non-stop service from Panama City, Panama to Orlando, Florida, aboard new 737-700 BOEING NEXT GENERATION aircraft. Flights will operate every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. And then Copa have non-stop service from Panama City to Cancun, Mexico. And operate every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
