757s take over this route for the New Year. Six flights each way seating 183 passengers. In the past it as been 8 737 flights each way seating 119. An ASM increase of 15% on 25% less flights. Should help in improving profit/loss numbers for this market. Of course later in the Year these 757s will be conveted to all coach, 199 seat configurations with DLX being replaced by the new LCC. I'm thinking this new configuration will have a greater seat pitch than what JBLU offers.

Anyone know when/if the 757's will get the DLX livery?
Or is there a chance they might go stright to the "Song" Livery?

Tomorrow Delta's 737 will be last day and upgrade 757 to Florida. I hope it will increase more passengers to Florida flights on Delta express next year 2003. Let's do it for 2003!!

Well- jetBlue's seat pitch is 32". Id be surprised if Delta offered more than 32" from a money savings standpoint.
Anyway, as much as I hate Delta because they wanna put jetBlue out of business, I think it is a commendable move from a business standpoint.
Way to go Delta... Im happy to see that airlines are finally gaining back some of the charm I hear they had way back when...
