I really need your help with this.
I've never flown onboard a MD-11 (it's my favourite aircraft) Now I want to make this dream come true. Can you tell which airline flies with the MD-11 out of europe. I live in Hamburg (HAM) and it would be great to fly to the united states. Other destinations are also fine, if there's no US destination available.
The best travel dates are March 31 - April 6
Thanks for your help in advance
Happy New Year

Delta has fifth freedom rights on the flights between BOM and CDG, so you could purchase that ticket alone, without having to have originated in BOM or JFK. I don't know if JAL flies their MD-11s into Europe or not, but if they do, that's a possibility. I know they served FRA in the past. All of the possibilities for you with European airlines have already been stated, those being Finnair, KLM, and Alitalia. Varig and Thai are your last choices ,I think, if none of those work out.

Why is everyone getting rid of their MD-11's? Their average age is not even 10 years so why get rid of them? The DC-10 was in continuous service for 30+ years so why does the MD-11 get treated like an old plane? Same goes for the F-100. How come companies like AA are retiring their F-100's when again these airplanes are barely a decade old? Look how long the F-28 was around for. Surely there must be a niche for the F-100 somewhere- it is afterall a superior aircraft to the BA-146.
