Royal Jordanian Currently To Iraq?

I corresponded recently with someone who flew Royal Jordanian into Iraq on flight #RJ1736 on 12/15/02. This person returned to AMM on flight #1737 the following day. I was under the impression that no commercial flights were operating into or out of Baghdad. Could this have been a charter flight? Thanks for any info you might have.

From what I heard, Royal Jordanian (still) operated (operates) charter flights between Amman and Baghdad, however not on a regular basis.
