Unlike the first leased 332 (D-AIME) which had the tail logo too high, the second (D-AIMD, delivered to FRA last Friday) has the crane in the correct position again. Photos showing the two in comparison to be uploaded this week.
D-AIME will begin revenue service to BOS tomorrow (Jan 7), D-AIMD to PHL on Jan 11.
Other destinations for the following 330s/340s are not yet finalized.

Konstantin

How could this happen, I mean a taillogo too high, seems to me somewhat ridiculous. Will they re-do it now or will they wait until maintenance time comes anyway?

They might redo it. Probably they weren't aware that the 332 has a larger tail when applying the standard logo and measured its position from the top...

LOL

perhaps indeed "just stick it there" action by LH technic paint chief,
LH marketing being pissed off and probably forcing Technic
to correct the other one also ASAP.

Chris, we currently only have one FRA-BOS (the other is MUC), so yes, it's the 16:25 departure.

Is JFK-FRA not a big market?

You know, Paris has a bunch of flights daily, and god knows LHR has at least 10 or 12... but FRA, not so many?

Well, Chris, your job is to keep an eye on the flights to CDG, so you're excused...
I will confirm when the departure actually takes place (two hours from now, but the is still in the maintenance area...)

FRA-JFK is only two flights per day in winter, three in summer.

No MUC flights planned so far, to avoid another split of the small 332 fleet...

3rd daily FRA-JFK will be introduced as LH405/406 (or 407?) on March 4 with 332.

FRA-BOS is showing 332 flight from 1.7 according to Star's Jan 2003 timetable.
