Topic: Mil Mi -17 At Klex 4/14

Driving past KLEX the other evening I was more than surprised to see a Mil Mi - 17 (or an 8) make a very slow and low approach into KLEX (Lexington, KY) last Saturday.

The closest I could find in the US to it was

Seeing that the caption of that photo reads that is is operated by US Special forces, I wouldn't be surprised if that is the one you saw. Lexington, KY is relatively close to Ft. Campbell, KY where there is a large base military base, and I believe they have some special operations (or at least the 101st Airborne is at Ft Campbell).
