Let's hope they follow up and replace the Sea Kings with ASW EH-101's, and never mind the embarrassment of cancelling the original order in 1993.
Some utility versions for supporting Canadian ground forces wouldn't be a bad idea either.

2912n, Comox is indeed the AFB north of Victoria. I don't know anything about the museum though. I agree it was a bad decision to cancel the original EH-101 deal . Canada's present SAR fleet was spending more time in the shop than in the air and there were several well publicized crashes. It's sad to see that Canada is not serious about it's military. If this continues, it wouldn't be surprising to see US or NATO bases IN Canada because Canada can't defend her own.

I do not know if the museum at Comox is worth a visit, but I know that the strip club in the Courtney Hotel was magnificent! And they would not allow tipping! My last visit was in the late 1980's, but if it is still in operation it is a must see.
