Trio Of C-17 Over PHL (1/22)

On my way home from work, I saw 3 C-17s, one behind the other and close, heading west. I assume they were from Maguire. Anyone know where they were headed? I've seen C-17 flying around before, but never more than one and never in such close proximity to each other.

Probably just a training mission. They do the same thing down here at Pope from Charleston, they do formation flying for training purposes, one behind another, sometimes within a hundred feet of one another, others about a few thousand feet apart. Charleston frequently does 3 packs, 4 packs, and 6 packs.
