Well fellow forumers I am off to the desert again- this time for about 3 and Half months (hopefully no longer). I will be at Prince Sultan Air Base near Riyadh and will not have access to the computer (gasp ) other than maybe 15 minutes a week or so. I am glad to go as I have been flying Noble Eagle missions over North America since Sept 11 mainly over DC and sometimes Crawford and Jackson Hole, I also flew over the Superbowl, and the G-8 Summit. Those missions got boring (which is good since no attack is happening) so I am looking forward to actually looking for real MiGs and Mirages over Iraq.

I will be flying alot and enforcing the UN Sactioned No Fly Zone over southern Iraq. If something flares up while I am there I will have to stay as the expr. flyers will not get to go home if something kicks off.

Anyway I am off to another desert tour, which I need since I can use the tax free money to pay bills

Represent Texas in Style. Viva Houston!

I will leave Monday so I will probably check the forum Sunday for the last time in while, forum withdrawl indeed

Ciao and Hook 'em Horns,
Lt-AWACS, Watching you from 30,000 feet

LOL at least I haven't had to do the anthrax yet  Smile
If this lasts long enough I could come back from this one as Capt-AWACS, we will see.

Thanks folks, about 24 hours and counting for this one.

Have fun with "General Order #1"... or does that only apply to the Army guys? If you ever get up to Eskan Village, check out the gym...
