I think it is amazing how some people never seem to stop exploring their own capabilities.

Not my kind of music, but good on him. It seems a good number of people who peaked one mountain early in their lives just keep trying to master more and more. Its great to see. Names like Buzz, and Bruce Dickinson.

Good ol' Buzz - test pilot, astronaut, rendezvous expert, boxer and hip-hop star... I think he's great!

I have heard that Buzz has an enormous...ENORMOUS ego. From what I have read he pitched a fit over being number 2 on the moon behind Mr. Armstrong.

Nope. The androgynous one started moonwalking around 1964.

The only thing I've ever read was Buzz's disbelief at Armstrong's natural piloting ability. Aldrin said he could have never done the math on the fly that Armstrong had to do to get the lander down exactly when they ran out of fuel, and he would probably have had to abort the mission when the original spot proved unsuitable. Then again, I never did give much credibility to third hand accounts.
Buzz could be a jerk and unrestrained by reality, and that undoubtedly gave birth to many unfounded rumors about him.
