It turns out that those two SU-27's brought in from the Ukraine are now FOR SALE!!!! Does anyone know the story behind this, I heard that they were for Tacair, but rumour was that they lost their contract.
Anyway imagine the fun you could have... but you might need to win the lottery first.

The article appears to indicate they were demilitarized for export and sale as jet warbirds. I'd like to meet the guy who has both the money and flying skills to own and really appreciate one or both of these birds.

I would have the pilot for these. Even several. Wouldn't be a problem.
The trouble is I don't have the money to buy one.  crying

There was a better way to fly it was called Concorde

I would buy them both, but that shade of blue really does not match my eyes.

The article suggests to me that whatever they planned to do with them in the agressor training field fell through and that they're now desperately trying to get rid of them  Smile

I think the Taiwan government could have some use for these, they could even keep them at Luke so the shipping costs would not be that high! They would look quite good alongside the dozen F16s there. They can pay cash too.

You think these guys can get hold of some J10s too from the PRC?? Big grin
