A couple weeks ago while cruising past the 6s along the beach I saw a large military T tail but couldn't see the whole plane.

Then as I was cruising down the 405 a Galaxy was on final to 24R (I wish I would have taken my normal route home where I stop at in n out but oh well)

Finally, today at work here in Thousand Oaks I just saw a Galaxy go over on the usual route into LAX...just curious what its doing, what her mission is and if I can expect to see more...

C-5s been coming into LAX since the 80's maybe before then. I remember them as a kid, they was so loud it was scary.

Ya I know, but the frequency is interesting me. Just curious if anyone had some insight.

It's more than likely support for Los Angeles AFB, they develop military space systems there.

I once saw a Lt. Col at the In N Out at LAX with 2 Majors, and then later that night I saw a C-5 depart....I presumed they were the flight crew, since they all had pilot badges.
