Unfortunately, as of this morning, the USCG and USAF serch have not found the missing F-16 pilot, or apparently any debris from his F-16.

I understand that the aircraft landed at Shaw AFB. So does that mean that the aircraft were actually from Shaw? Or were they en route, and that was simply the closest base?
