Blue Angels/Thunderbirds Release 2010(+) Schedules

The Thunderbirds have announced their 2010 schedule:

And, in a new agreement with the International Council on Air Shows, the Blue Angels have announced their 2010 and 2011 schedules:

Good news for MKE fans - the Blues are returning to the lakefront. Next year's show is much earlier - June 12/13. I suppose that this is possibly to stay away from the OSH EAA dates, but it seems more likely that the show organizers took whatever Blue Angel dates they could get.

They used to visit NAS New Brunswick but I understand that's been BRAC'd.

The Blues are going to be at Sun N Fun in Lakeland, FL in 2011. That is surprising. I've only been to that show a couple of times but I never recall them having the major teams. Interesting.

It's NAS Brunswick....... Not New Brunswick. The last of the P-3's flew out last week and the airfield is now closed.

Same for the Philadelphia area. Closest visit by either team is Atlantic City, NJ. Oh, well. Looks like another airshow-less couple of summers.

Very disappointed to learn of a Thunderbirds display in NSW, Australia earlier this year doing a small display!

Would love to see one of these guys (or even the Red Arrows or others) in Australia.

(I have seen Thunderbirds internationally in Kulala Lumpur and thoroughly enjoyed it!).

Unfortunately, there is no separate International schedule. What you see is what you get.

The teams do occasionally schedule tours overseas - as you know from the NSW appearance ( I seem to remember some Asian dates on this year's schedule as well), but they aren't annual events.

Milwaukee is great fun in the summer - looks like it's time for a road trip to see the Blues!
