Good news for the B models. 85-0002 is being inducted this week (possibly tomorrow) and will be the 5th C-5M. 83-1285 is still on time and on track for delivery in September.

Do you know when the C-5M RERP program progresses for the current LRIP to the FRP? How many more C-5Bs will enter the RERP production in 2010?

The schedule keeps changing, so I can't say for sure, but 3 aircraft were to enter in FY10, 5002 being the 1st. Then 5 aircraft are to be inducted in FY11, but as I said, that might change. I would assume 4 more planes would be inducted this calendar year though. Actually looking back at the article, the process is still sorta there, the installation is approved for 3 aircraft, and material stuff for 5 more, so I assume their plan is still on track. Before I got out, the schedule was 1, 3, 5, 7, then 8 a year till till they are all done.
