Great photos.
I also posted a link to this site in the Photographers Forum a few days ago as I felt every airplane photographer could learn someting from Neil Aird's early work, but the post got deleted...

I wonder when the last of the WWII vintage fighters and bombers left that place... maybe some time in the early 60s? There are a few C47s and other such planes in those pics, but mostly it's "jet era" aircraft. I'd love to see a similar collection of color photos from 1955, though that is probably never going to happen. Great collection of shots, and remarkably clean and sharp despite the age!
