Raaf Accepts 2 B-737 Wedgetails

These are the two Wedgetails delivered by Boeing to the RAAF last year, but now they are fully under RAAF control for flight, maintenance, and training scheduling. The RAAF has fully accepted them into the RAAF fleet. Boeing say they will deliver 3 more Wedgetails this year and the 6th aircraft early next year. All 6 of these AWACS aircraft will be fully upgraded by next year.

Just to be clear, these are the two AEW&C B-737NGs that Boeing turned over to the RAAF last Nov. but retained control over. Now, Boeing no longer has control of them, the RAAF does.
