In a Boeing blog about the KC-767 will add some 1100 jobs in IL, it seems one of the local companies is NG out of Rolling Meadows, IL. I know this is just one division but, is NG jumping the EADS KC-X ship?

AFAIK the NG Rolling Meadows is home to the NG Defensive Systems Division the makers of the Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures (LAIRCM) that you see flying on the RAAF KC-30 and on C-17s.

That's what I thought, or at least they make some major parts of the systems. I am wondering if NG divisions in other states are also on Boeing's lists of possible sub-contractors, making parts unique to the KC-767NG and not the A-330MRTT?
