Hey all,

Was wondering if there was any sort of schedule available for President Obama's arrival into AUS on Monday, August 9th? I'd love to go out and shoot some pictures of it. Any idea what time AF1 will arrive?

Thanks!

Cheers,
Cameron

Check out the FAA TFR list here:
http://tfr.faa.gov/tfr2/list.html

Filter by State (or Center, but I wasn't sure which Center covers AUS) They show two TFRs for Monday, one for Dallas, one for Austin. Click on the NOTAM number, and you will get a description of the airspace involved, as well as effective times. It won't give you the actual arrival/departure times, but you can get a very good idea of the time window - I've caught AF1 several times into or out of JFK this way.

He is going into DAL in the morning, then to AUS in the afternoon for teleprompter speaches. DAL is in ZFW (Fort Worth ARTCC) and AUS is in ZHU (Houston ARTCC). The Lair in chief is expected to use a VC-25A, as his wife is on vacation in Spain with a C-32A.

Glad you were able to catch him arriving - the second shot looks good, too bad those wires got in the way of the others...
