Am just posting to ask a question. Wanted to wait a day or two to prevent anyone claiming confidential info and all that.
I was arriving in JFK last Monday at approx 1600. I spotted 2 Super Stallions flying in and thought it odd. The 2 Stallions flared and dropped. I am not too familiar with the terminals in JFK so am unable to give a location. Approx 3-5 minuts later as I was pulling up to the International terminal (T5?) I spotted another flight of 3 choppers inbound. 1 was another VH-53 while the other 2 were smaller and appeared to have the dark green/white top VIP passenger livery of the Marine Presidential choppers. I snapped a pic of the last Stallion and it is in the HMX-1 support livery. The pic was taken standing directly outside the doors to International Terminal.
My question is: was this Obama or do other US cabinet members get the full HMX-1 flight treatment?

From what I've seen, several HMX-1 helicopters arrived at JFK on Monday. President Obama is due in on Thursday, and they arrived as part of the advance detail. Not too confidential - the FAA already has the TFRs posted for the visit.

Thanks for that. The staggered manner of the choppers arrival gave the impression of a VIP in the second flight. Looks like they were just doing a bit of last minute rehearsal.
And luckily for me that explains the lack of a huge delay out of JFK that evening, only the 'normal' 45 minute taxi!!
