Presidential 747 At TUL?

At about 11:45am (CDT) today (10/26) I saw what I believe was a presidential 747 (as in Air Force 1) on approach to TUL. The plane was white and blue, and had an American flag on the tail. I'm sure this was one of the presidential planes. The problem is that there was nothing on the local news about it, and I'm pretty sure Obama is in DC today.

Does anyone know why this plane was coming into TUL?

I think that's probably what it was. I was too far away to see the dome on top. I've heard that USAF is doing a lot of training around here.

Why would they be using Tulsa as a drop-in location to shoot approaches and do touch-and-goes? Tulsa is quite a busy place from what I recall. Not only do they have their fair share of commercial and GA traffic, but they also have a lot of military traffic as well. Not only does the OK Guard fly Vipers out of there, but many Vance T-1s come play at KTUL during the Transition and Nav phases. I can recall days where half the radio calls were to "Vandy" aircraft. We loved Tulsa because it was one of the few close places that had pretty much any approach we students needed to log off for our training (high approaches, NDB iirc, GPS, and the regular VOR/ILS/TAC stuff).

TUL is one of the few places where the USAF can practice NDB approaches. TIK does not have one, nor does OFF.
