French AF Mirage Mid-air?

Posted (10 years 2 months 2 weeks 3 days 7 hours ago) and read 2236 times:

Just seen a short news items on rbc.ru which states that 2 Mirage F.1 of the French Air Force have been involved in a mid-air collision during a training exercise. It says that the aircraft belonged to 112 Squadron, based in Reims. Both pilots are presumed dead.

Can onyone confirm?

Anyone know if this is the two formation Mirage F.1 that performs at air show?
As far as I have heard one plane hit the others wing from below and behind, and the fact that they had been carrying out a training exercises above the Reims air base made me wonder if it is indeed the two display F.1's.

whether it is or not, it is a tragic accident Sad

I have just read on Touch-down News that the two Mirage F.1's were the "Voltige Victor" duo, and they were practicing for this years air show season.
