A 350-acre brush fire has broken out near the press area at the Kennedy Space Center, around three miles from the launch pad. NASA does not anticipate any negative consequence in regards to the Endeavor launch tomorrow.

Here is a couple photos of a pair of helicopters dropping buckets of water near the Press Site. You can see Endeavour on the pad in the background through the smoke.

BTW, I will be reporting and photographing for a.net on this upcoming STS-134 launch, scheduled for Friday, April 29 at 3:47 pm EDT.

Hopefully, I will be able to post updates starting tomorrow.

Go Endeavour!

Ben
