The stealth Blackhawk helo in the pic below which was used in the OBL raid, where was it built?

I have the top two guesses here.

Palmdale AFB Plant 42 or Edwards AFB

That's not necessarily the aircraft used- merely a suggested design. It was floated in the other thread on the Abbottabad raid.

It'll be interesting to see if (and, one hopes, when) it is shown to the public.

Maybe at the Pratt plant in West Palm Beach. IIRC thats where the Comanche was built. The do work a lot of Blackhawks there.

Ok, seriously now, with all the jokes set aside.... I guess they do all the testing at the Tonopah Test Range or maybe even Groom Lake..aka Area 51.
But thats just my theory.

I did not know that the pic was just a rough design and NOT the real thing so to speak.

It was almost certainly the Sikorsky plant at Elmira, NY.
