Fighters Over Chicago On 5/28

My uncle heard and saw several fighters flying low over Chicago on 5/28 and didn't know what type they were nor what they were doing. Does anyone have any info on this?

I have no direct knowledge about this, but perhaps it's related to a Memorial day flyover? Perhaps a practice run?
