Hi, everyone:

When Chancellor Merkel or other German politicians privileged to Luftwaffe-operated flights depart on international voyages, do they depart directly from Berlin on the A340/A310, or do they first take one of the Challengers or another aircraft to Cologne and depart from the Flugbereitschaft BMVg facility?

That's all - thanks!

The Flugbereitschaft comes to Berlin, not the Chancellor to the Flugbereitschaft!

Correct.
As soon as BBI opens, the aircraft will be transferred to Berlin with only the logistic facilities remaining in Cologne.
