Peru Buys 12 Twin Otters For Peruvian Air Force

Peru buys 12 Canadian-made Twin Otter planes

Canada’s iconic Twin Otter is heading for the Peruvian Amazon.

Viking Air Ltd., which has revived production of the turboprop, will announce a $65-million (U.S.) contract at next week’s Paris Air Show to sell 12 Twin Otters to the government of Peru. For Viking, it marks the largest single order placed by a customer.

Thanks for sharing.    I have to say I didn't see this coming. I think it will be great to see those new Twin Otters in the colours of the Peruvian Air Force.

I like the colors of Peruvian Police on their An26 even more, but this is a nice order!

Didn't the Peruvian air force buy a number of An-something's (the small twin with the 'H' tail) a few years back?

I saw some pass through ANC a few years back but don't remember who they where for
