Does any one have any info on the expected arrival time of Air Force One and President Obama at Newark Liberty International Airport on Sunday September 4th, 2011. It would be nice to spot this magnificent aircraft while it is on approach into Newark.
Thanks

President Obama will be going to Paterson, NJ to look at the severe flood damage there and in the area from Irene. I live in a nearby (downstream) town and so far there has been no specifics as to the time of his visit. I suspect details are not being disclosed to the public for obious security reasons, but I would suggest that he will arrive in the late morning at EWR, aiming for a visit in Paterson in the early aftternoon.

What makes you think that he won't take one of the smaller planes sometimes used as AF1 and fly into TEB?
Second, both political and operational issues favor the VC-25A when choosing an aircraft. It has command and control/communications capabilities not found on the Gulfstreams, has more room for personnel (and guests), and it simply looks more impressive when it shows up on the evening news.

From the TFR, it looks like they are scheduled to arrive at EWR between 1130L and 1245L and depart between 1500L and 1615L.

Thank you and especially to you moose135 for timely and accurate info. I was able to take photos of Air Force One as it was on shorts into runway 22L. Because of the position of the Sun, I had to take the photos from the East side of the NJ Turnpike in the Iron Bound Section of Newark. The aircraft arrived at exactly 12 Noon. I had a hint that it would show up because there was no inbound traffic for about 10 minutes before it showed up. The weather and lighting conditions were not the best. But at least I got my first personal photos of Air Force One.
Thanks again.
Ken.
