Just after a bit of local info regarding McCarran.
I was there Sunday 18th Sept checked-in for my flight back to the UK when I saw what I think was an F-18 ?
It appeared to have either done a low-pass or was departing.
I couldn't see much til it was well on its way, but the noise was the clue !

The previous day we were South of the strip shopping and I was sure I saw one as well.
It was well low, but very fast, just South of the strip.

I hope you guys realise how lucky you are, having spent half a day at Nellis I am totally in awe.
As some guy in Terminator said 'I'll be back' ......... what a place !!
