OK I had a little fun with the name, but someday?

Any speculation on when and if an airline goes into space? I know PanAm was there in that space movie, but are we getting closer as commercial ventures are popping up? Your thoughts.

So UA is going to start flying into La Chinita, Venezuela? From IAD or SFO?

I almost responded to that until I saw the airport code...

Probably a better airport code for Mars is MRS (Marseilles). I could see United flying to MRS!

Quite some time ago there was a radio station contest, with first prize being a trip to Mars. I figured they meant Mars, PA.

Reminds me of that radio game show on which they offered the winner a 'toy Yoda'... Said winner wasn't amused.

Anyhow, good to see that Mars is getting some attention again.
However to my untrained eye, it kind of seems that these Mars missions are just variations of the same old idea: Get a rover on it and look for signs of long gone life... They've been at it since the 90s and I'm not sure it gets us any closer to actually sending a man there.

Still. I wish it a good trip and I'll be listening for results.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit posting...
