Chinooks? Since when does he fly in the CH-47? Marine One could be any chopper Obama is on, but they are typically the VH-3D Sea King or the VH-60N Whitehawk (which is the presidential version of the Blackhawk).

HMX-1 also flies the the CH-46 Sea Knight which is quite often mistaken for a Chinook.

There's no mistaking them if you seem them side by side though! But yes a lot of people do confuse them and even on the Military Channel on cable they will show a CH-46 when narrating about a CH-47... which is, on that channel, inexusable.
