Lucky kid. I would love to see a U-2 in action some time - wonder if Beale AFB is having an open day this year?

There's a few things I miss about the UK, fish and chips and the pub being 2 of them but what I really miss is the 4 day RIAT stay I used to religiously do each year. I'm sure you can imagine my airshow drought living in Ontario, Canada!

Quoting Scooter01 (Reply 3): At least I was able to see the ones at the CNE, Hamilton, London and Trenton...
Lucky you, i'm jealous! My last show was the CNE but it was pretty pale to be honest and I managed a London show many moons ago but now there's practically nothing! We're the airshow outcasts!
Cheers

Stu..........May I suggest a trip down to Dayton, Ohio to see the Dayton "Air Fair"....(or whatever they're calling it now)
The venue is the Dayton International Airport at Vandalia, Ohio, which is about 3 miles north of downtown Dayton.
You could also visit the Airforce Museum, (which is fantastic), which is just a few miles east of Vandalia, just off of I-70.
The Dayton show is really great.......the U.S.A.F. sends almost everything they have, and there are always a bunch more air show favorites performing.
Don't know just where you are in Ontario, but it's only a 4 hour drive from Dayton up to Detroit, and Ontario is right across the bridge.
