(Better Late Than Never)
As a history enthusiast - particularly aviation, German, and war history - I would like to commemorate the 94th year since Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen (The Red Baron) was killed in battle in World War One (21 April, 1918).
Respected by friend and foe alike, he was an aviator and warrior in the fullest definition of these words.
Ruhe In Frieden. Rest In Peace.
"Fight on and fly on to the last drop of blood and the last drop of fuel, to the last beat of the heart."
- Baron Manfred von Richthofen
