Boeing, Sierra Nevada, and SpaceX all picked up for commercial crew.
Earlier today, NASA announced that it has awarded over $1.1 billion in contracts to the Sierra Nevada Corporation, Boeing, and SpaceX as part of its Commercial Crew Integrated Capability initiative. The goal of the Initiative has been to develop crewed flight capabilities as a means to provide both government and commercial entities the ability to travel to the International Space Station and to low Earth orbit. Each of the three companies is heavily involved in developing manned flight capabilities.

After further review it appears the Sierra Nevada contract will not proceed past critical design review. It's the back up player should Boeing or SpaceX be unable to proceed.
