Sitting here at the park have seen 4-5 blue bottom and nose with white upper 2 tone. I couldnt read anything on it because it was the high part of final. They seem to be possibly 757 and a 737 maybe? Anyone have info on this? I am unaware of any political event happening here. I have not heard or seen them takeoff. Any info appreciated.

Correction "c-32" instead of a 757 ... i followed up by going by the airport about an hour after seeing the last one land and i did not find a one... maybe a stop for some fuel? But why wouldnt they just call Scott AFB to supply a tanker in air? I dont know

Tankers in the air are worthless if the plane requiring fuel has no way of receiving fuel in the air.

Quoting phatalbert (Reply 3): Your saying those presidential planes dont have refuel nozzles on them? I know the 747 VC-25 i think accepts air to air refuel.. none of the other do?
The C-32A's do not...just the couple of C32B's, but those are not part of the presidential/VIP fleet. E-4's of course do have the capability.

The B-737 may have been a C-40B, which cannot air refuel either.

As Checksixx and TopBoom said, the C-32s and C-40s in the VIP fleet are not air refuel-able, but beyond that, they have never done an in-flight refueling of the VC-25 with POTUS on board. Although it is a daily occurrence, and the Air Force has decades of air refueling experience, there are risks involved, which you don't want when you have the President on board.
