In the midst of all the 787 hysteria and some pretty interesting newspaper headers ("airbus nixes Lithium-ion batteries" is one of my favorites), there was one article that caught my eye....

"Pentagon stands by use of lithium-ion batteries on F-35 fighters"
Actually quite an informative piece on the F-35 batteries, the irony being that they have some small issues on cold days, rather than problems with thermal runaway (according to the article this is linked to a software standard that is scheduled to be upated).
