the launcher that once looked like two 747's cobbled together has been modified to the degree that the only visible 747 components are the six engines and struts.

Wonder how many more changes are in the works.

Nothing has really changed. Those first artist conceptions didn't really have any basis in reality. They never planned to use the fuselages or wings from the 747s. They were only bought for the engines, landing gear, hydraulics and sub systems.

So why would they put out BS, knowing that it wouldn't stay. I seem to recall they were very specific about using the fuselage portions to keep the development costs down... Although with the ability to remove old data from their pages, will we ever be able to verify that.

Your response reminds my of the "photoshop" response when ever there is a picture that's a bit unusual
