Not a very big story in local media, so I can see some panicked residents here. Why do they need to do it over a city anyway? For myself, I hope to see some of it!

Because that's where the base is, assuming that the aircraft involved will be coming from Luke AFB which is home to F-16s. Furthermore, any scenario similar to 9/11 is most likely going to involve a major city, since that would be a likely target or origin for a hijacked aircraft.



Why do Aerospace Engineering students have to turn things in on time?
