Great News! As the title says the IAF received its first C-17.

Quoting:

""The C-17 will equip the Indian Air Force with amongst the world's most advanced humanitarian and strategic capabilities," said Air Vice Marshal SRK Nair, Assistant Chief of Air Staff Operations (Transport and Helicopters). "We have looked forward to this day when our Indian Air Force flies the first C-17 to its new home in India."

Boeing is on track to deliver four more C-17s to the IAF this year and five in 2014.

And we will be the 2nd largest operators of the type (after the USAF, of course) once all ten are delivered! The schedule is 4 more this year and another 5 in 2014, with six more options.

I don't think they have, but all indications are that they will.

I have seen this beauty no later than last Friday while landing in BCN.
She was parked close to terminal 2.

I believe their second one first flew last week. Wish I had a better idea of when they'd be out at LGB.

The 3 delivered C-17s were officially inducted yesterday in the newly raised 81 squadron nicknamed 'Skylords'.

Quoting wingman (Reply 9):

Looks like Ice-Cube and Vin Diesel films are still popular there ... but totally unimaginative. - in land of Bollywood and home to countless thousands of native english speakers, they should have used original art.
