Interesting article from the beeb:

Glad to say the craft has returned some great images and some great scientific results.

Between this rover and its predecessors the past presence of water on Mars is pretty much certain.

Curiosity will search for evidence of organic materials but given Mars's harsh climate such material is not that likely to be preserved.

I wish Curiosity a long and successful mission on Mars, but my curiosity wonders what's next after Curiosity? Will there be a need to send more rovers to Mars?

Inspiration, move me brightly!

Another, similar rover is planned for 2020; the plan is currently pending congressional approval. This one will be built from Curiosity’s spare parts and thus will cut mission costs.

But before that, NASA will send the MAVEN orbiter (2013) and the InSight lander (2016) to Mars.

This should keep Mars exploration busy for awhile.

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the universe.

After Curiosity dies of old age in ten years, Opportunity will probably still be going.

LOL, and its mission was for only 90 days. I think someone put days instead of years by mistake.
