Czech Republic Chooses The Gripen

The Czech Republic has selected the JAS Gripen as replacement for their old MiG-21s.

It's in fact the third. The first went to South Africa. If I'm not wrong, South Africa is the only country, except for Sweden, that has bought the plane. Hungary and the Czech Republic only rent them.

SK A340 is right. The Czech Republik will (hopefully) be the third customer and it could be the first export customer to receive the aircraft as Hungary will get the Gripen in 2006 and South Africa in 2007/9.
