After the Scandal @ Boeing with the tankers, the fast development of the F-35a/b/c, and the final checks and troubleshooting for the F/A 22 Raptor, what is your opinion on what will the USAF's 'fleet' will be? Will the B-52 program be relaunched for a replacement? Will there be another stealth bomber?...

Here's what I see the frontline fighter/bomber/cargo aircraft of USAF being in 6 years

F-15C/E
F-16
F/A-22
F-35
B-1
B-2
B-52
A-10
C-5
C-17
C-130

I highly doubt we'll see another bomber program after the drawdown recommended for the bomber force in the last QDR and we'll more than likely see a re-engine program for the B-52s so that their service lives will be extended until at least the Twenties.

The B-52's are supposed to last untill the 40's with their current engines.

F-35's might be in production by then, but I doubt squadron service.

F-22's might have one or two squadrons formed by them.

The Air Force Brass may again be pushing for the premature retirement of the A-10.

2010 is not that far off, so don't expect a lot of changes.

OBAMA-WORST PRESIDENT EVER....Even SKOORB would be better.
